Overview:
FMCC Board and STAG has started after the WW 2014 several initiatives in order to bring value to the members and to reach the vision “… to be the resource and voice for Facility Management Consultants worldwide to leverage our collective expertise to benefit IFMA members and the Facility Management profession”. Some of these initiatives are: – The STAG team is growing
– 20 webinar have been scheduled already
– Podcasts, white papers, white books will be published soon
– FMCC members are working on FMJ articles as “Ask the Experts”, on “Consultant Tips” and on establishing the FMCC blog as a platform for members
– FMCC is more present on Social Media as on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter etc. which can be used by members as exchange of knowledge
– Networking and project groups will be established and active from January 2015 onwards
– An FMCC App and the revision of the “Worldwide FM Consultants Directory” is in progress
– World FM Day 2015 will be an event for the entire FMCC and IFMA community This webinars will give you a brief overview of all activities and the chance to design our further strategy.

John Ringness, SFP, MRICS
John Ringness is the President & CEO of NEXT Facility Management Solutions, an international consulting practice, and a global FM Conference speaker. For the past 30 years John has held various leadership positions for multinational companies such as Marriott Corporation, Sodexho, Lavasa, Kohinoor Group, Acadia University, Partners in Health. NEXT Facility Management Solutions is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
John is a professional member of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), a member of IFMA’s FM Consultants Council, serving as its President. John is a lifelong learner, having completed the Facility Management program at the University of Toronto, the Sustainability Facilities Professional designation with International Facility Management Association, a Professional Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), and completed a number of other educational programs. IFMA utilizes John as a Subject Matter Expert in the development of their educational FM Essentials program, a former member of the Indian Green Building Council, and Founding President IFMA Mumbai Chapter. He also serves as the Global Liaison – India, IFMA’s FMCC, a member of IFMA’s global Sustainability Action Group, and writes for a number of Indian Trade journals.
Architect BYAK & CEO, isar1 AG
Markus Groll, a registered architect, has been in the commercial design profession since 1988. As the founder and manager of companies in Germany, Jordan and the UAE, he has acquired a wealth of experience in architecture, construction and facilities management over the past 25+ years specializing in project planning and management in accordance with industry specific best practice standards.
Working with major clients in a consultancy capacity, he has provided advice and expertise on all aspects of building construction and maintenance. Due to his IT affinity Markus has been also working with clients and companies to lead the implementation and configuration of CAD, BIM, CAFM, IWMS, IMMS and CMMS software applications.
In 1999, he has established the IFMA Regional Chapter “Inn-Salzach” with the primary focus on informing about IFMA and facilities management best practice whilst securing new members for the IFMA. Markus was also the co-author of the German IFMA Planning & Project Management course and has been teaching that course for IFMA since 1998.
Markus has been active in FMCC as
– STAG chair at the FMCC STAG since September 2013
– FMCC Board Member as Secretary: July 2014 – June 2015
– FMCC Board Member as 1st Vice President: from July 2015 onwards
Markus Groll is a founding partner in the multi-disciplinary Global Facility Management Alliance. This consortium of FM consultants facilitates broader strategic support for larger clients and projects of greater complexity.

Shamo Mikayilov
Shamo Mikayilov, is actually student at the University Potsdam for the Master Degree in “Business Informatics and Electronic Government”. Previously, completed his bachelor degree in Azerbaijan in “Management and Informatics” and studied also at the Humboldt University of Berlin in “Business Administration”. During studying at the Humboldt University of Berlin he did an internship in German Parliament in the office of Vice President. He worked more than 2 years in one of the biggest construction company in Baku as CAFM Operation Specialist, coordinating as assistant of the CAFM Manager operational FM teams as e.g. Service Desk, Dispatchers and the MEP supervisors at preventive and reactive maintenance works. Moreover he was responsible for the data survey of all assets, plants and spaces for the FM department in order to drive Maintenance Management, Lease Management, Meter Management, Contract Management etc. Parallel to his study he is working as a junior consultant at isar1 AG. Since 2014 is he member of IFMA and active in IFMA STAG as the Social Media Lead. Shamo is speaking fluently Azeri, Turkish, English, German and Russian. Shamo is the first candidate of FMCC’s students mentorship program and also point of contact for students interested in joining FMCC
Daniel Goldsmith, DBA Principal, Daniel M. Goldsmith Consultancy, LLC
Daniel Goldsmith is the principal of Daniel M. Goldsmith Consultancy, LLC, a consultancy specializing in Management and Facility Management.
Daniel holds a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) degree from Argosy University, and his earlier degrees are an MBA from Strayer University and bachelor degree in Business from the University of West Florida.
Daniel enjoys the privilege of contributing to the community of learning at Strayer University as adjunct faculty. He is a contributor in the Facility Management arena within the federal government and currently holds professional memberships in the Institute of Management Consultants – National Capital Region Chapter, the American Statistical Association (AMSTAT), the International Facility Management Association (IFMA) and the Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM).

Kit Tuveson, CFM, IFMA Fellow
Kit Tuveson is Vice President of Business Development for Visual Mobile Technologies. Kit is focused on leveraging his extensive network of Facility and Property Management practitioners to bring new customers and markets to the company. Kit “graduated” in 2002 from a 37-year Hewlett-Packard career where he managed site facilities teams, global program managers, cross-functional teams, and for ten years, served as HP’s Global Director of Facility Management Operations and also Global Director of Environmental Health & Safety. Kit is a widely recognized FM consultant and mentor with an extensive teaching and presentation background. He is a Lifetime Certified Facility Manager, was IFMA’s Board Chairman in 1998, and is an IFMA Fellow.
avid is an independent Facility Management consultant located in Jackson, Mississippi, in the U.S. central Gulf region. His involvement in FM arose out of work in engineering, operations, and related technologies. He has a lifelong interest in how people experience the built environment and how the built environment hosts organizations and advances their purposes.
He began consulting in offshore oil field and inland marine transportation in the U.S. during the 1990s, building teams that streamlined and transformed production processes. He continued in technical operations and project management roles in the U.S. and Europe, concentrating exclusively in FM since joining IFMA in 2003. He earned the FMP in 2005 and the CFM in 2014.
He holds degrees in science, engineering, and allied health areas. He is active in the IFMA FM Consulting Council. His pro bono work concerns safe and healthy housing, workplace safety, environmental health, and key process design and measurement. He served in the United States Coast Guard.
