FMCC Webinar review: “What Metallica and Justin Bieber can teach us about innovation within facilities management: before it’s too late!”

Presenter(s):

Overview:
For many FM organizations, innovation is a loose, generic term that insinuates that something new is being done. In the realms of facilities management, this typically applies to marginal improvements through the adoption of technology or by reskilling in new methodologies. But what happens when a real, game-changing innovation comes along and disrupts your business? What happens when a competitor has a completely new business advantage, enabling technology or delivery capability that no one else has? How can you protect yourself from that?
During our webinar, we will explore some of the ways that facilities managers can introduce and manage innovation within their organizations, contracts and buildings. We look at the ways that many facility managers push the boundaries of current practice to improve the experience for building occupiers, and some examples of where innovation has radically affected the way that buildings operate. Throughout the webinar, we will look at some examples from other industries and, learning from them, highlight some tools and methodologies that you can introduce to improve your own innovation results. Finally, we will help you get started on designing your own innovation journey.
Join us for this hour long session and leave with some new knowledge, a handful of good stories and a new appreciation for the talents of Metallica and Justin Bieber.
