Overview:
The built environment is swiftly changing, is Facility Management simply chalta hai? Or is it a new season for FM professionals to align and adapt their existing systems and processes to the increasing complexities of Facility Management. Today this session will highlight some current best practices reviewing the integration of People, Property, Process, and Technology in the Facility Management field.

Presenter(s) Biography:
Shamsher Sindhu
Shamsher Sindu is Executive Vice President – Infrastructure and Projects at Kotak Mahindra Bank and has also worked with DLF, Convergys India, and the Country Head- Global Facilities Management Capgemini FS.
Shamsher has extensive experience across all Corporate Real Estate work streams – Real Estate strategy, Selection and Transactions, Design and Built ( Fit-out, greenfield and brown field projects), Facility Management, Critical Engineering, Workplace strategy and portfolio management, CRE Finance, Security& EHS , Sustainability (Including LEED certification) and Business Continuity management.
David Amalraj
David Amalraj is a Head of Enterprise Utilities and Public works department In Lavasa City Management Services. He received his Master’s degree both in International Business Administration and in Power Electronics & Industrial Drives. He completed his graduation in Electrical Engineering from Maharaja Sayajirao University, Baroda.
Prior to Lavasa, He was associated with various concerns like Indian Air Force, Universities & NGO as a Facility Management Professional, Project Management, Operations Management, and Faculty. Besides Lavasa, currently he is a visiting faculty of Ecole Hotelier Lausanne handling Facility Management & Engineering subjects. His areas of expertise are City Management, Facility Management, Project Management, Smart City Development, Property & Asset Management, and Employee Development & Training.
Rajesh Debroy
Rajesh Debroy was most recently the Sr Manager Facility & Administration (Site Admin Head) for Vodafone. Educated in MBA HR with certification in Six sigma green belt, PMP from IIM Kozhikode, SCM Logistic management from IIT Delhi, IOSH from UK, and NEBOSH IGC 3. Has been lucky to work in diverse areas with rich and deep insights into business process, business practices, new infrastructure roll out Facility Life cycle management and the requirements of the various stakeholders of a business.
Nearly 17 years of experience have been rewarding, thanks to opportunities to contribute in meaningful roles in the areas of New circle officovernment liasioning Leasing, Contract management, roll outs, Employee welfare, Cafetaria manage zonal office setups, recruitment/Training, start ups, across geographic locations, and Security Management.
Has had various assignments in Service Industry, Manufacturing setup & Telecom sector in India with such companies as Coca Cola, Airtel, Tata, Reliance communications, Uninor, and most recently Vodafone.
John Ringness is the President & CEO of NEXT Facility Management Solutions, an international consulting practice, and a global FM Conference speaker. For the past 30 years John has held various leadership positions for multinational companies such as Marriott Corporation, Sodexho, Lavasa, Kohinoor Group, Acadia University, Partners in Health. NEXT Facility Management Solutions is based in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
John is a professional member of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), a member of IFMA’s FM Consultants Council, serving as its President. John is a lifelong learner, having completed the Facility Management program at the University of Toronto, the Sustainability Facilities Professional designation with International Facility Management Association, a Professional Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), and completed a number of other educational programs. IFMA utilizes John as a Subject Matter Expert in the development of their educational FM Essentials program, a former member of the Indian Green Building Council, and Founding President IFMA Mumbai Chapter. He also serves as the Global Liaison – India, IFMA’s FMCC, a member of IFMA’s global Sustainability Action Group, and writes for a number of Indian Trade journals.
